Jewelry boxes are always a welcome gift, especially for little girls who love to tuck their treasures into a pretty container. Some of the jewelry boxes in this collection are theme boxes, designed around popular mythical characters. Other boxes are more traditional — like a jewelry or music box for an adult but on a smaller scale. I think you’ll find the perfect jewelry box in this collection.

Where to find a jewelry box for a 7 year old girl?
My co-worker's little girl is having a birthday soon and he wants to get her a jewelry box, and neither one of us know where to look. I have an infant girl so this is new to me. We have store's like Target and Walmart but I wasn't sure what kind of store would carry this item, it doesn't necessarily have to be for a little girl, could be more grownup and I was wondering if anyone knew what type of store we could look in. Thanks.
Hello Linda D – what the heck are you ranting about? His daughter likes costume jewelry, I'm sure she removes her jewelry when outside playing. He takes offense to your strange response, he's a good dad and if his little girl likes jewelry compared to what other little kids play with (video games and such) then she can have play jewelry. Go back to bed, perhaps you didn't get enough sleep today.
Hello anyname5558898 – are you serious? When he drops his daughter off at daycare there are about 30 kids sitting like zombies playing game boys, and the three 6 year old's that don't have video games are actually using their hands and eyes to physically play with toys. We're not against kids playing video games, just don't believe a 6 year old benefits from it. What does this have to do with where to buy a jewelry box, I'm not forcing jewelry on your child.
Wal-Mart and Target should both have jewelry boxes that are suitable for little girls. If he has time to order it he could also check on amazon.com.

If you want to be more creative (and if you have the time), go to a crafts store like Michael's and pick up a little box. Then get other little beads or ribbons or something like that to decorate it. You could put her name on it. I'm sure she'd really love something like that. Good luck!

Lets see, Wal-Mart, Target, Kmart, Big Mart, and the mall…

CHILDREN DO NOT NEED TO WEAR JEWELRY – THEY ARE MUSH TOO ACITVE AND WILL BREAK THINGS!!!
Tell your co-worker if he can't find one – then she's too young to be wearing jewelry in the first place.

Walmart and Target have plenty of jewlery boxes for kids/girls. Toys r us too.
However, video games are much better for her than jewlery btw. Video games teach hand eye coordination and stimulate critical thinking. Jewlery makes her look pretty. Whoopdy doo. Intelligence is far more important than her looks.
